EXPEDITIONARY UNMANNED SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR (IMMEDIATE FILL)

Overview

Orca Maritime, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Expeditionary Unmanned Systems (ExUS) Instructor to begin immediately on a full-time contract basis to support Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, CA.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide training support, including instruction of military and civilian personnel.

  • Develop, design, deliver, and maintain instructional content and curriculum for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Expeditionary Unmanned Systems, and Chemistry, aligned with Navy training standards.

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously improve instruction material and training delivery.

  • Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and support testing and evaluation of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.

  • Minimum four (4) years of experience in all facets of Expeditionary Unmanned Systems (ExUS) operations and tactical employment, including one (1) year as an Instructor/Trainer/Evaluator in a Navy Training Environment.

  • Experience as a qualified UMS Operator or Technician and/or a Master/Afloat Training Specialist is a significant plus.

  • Strong background, knowledge, and experience in the Naval Operational Planning Process and Command and Control of assigned forces.

  • Occasional travel within the U.S. and OCONUS might be required.

  • Active Secret Clearance required.

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
