EXPEDITIONARY UNMANNED SYSTEMS INSTRUCTOR (IMMEDIATE FILL)
Overview
Orca Maritime, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Expeditionary Unmanned Systems (ExUS) Instructor to begin immediately on a full-time contract basis to support Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific in San Diego, CA.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide training support, including instruction of military and civilian personnel.
Develop, design, deliver, and maintain instructional content and curriculum for Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Expeditionary Unmanned Systems, and Chemistry, aligned with Navy training standards.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to continuously improve instruction material and training delivery.
Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and support testing and evaluation of assigned projects.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in related technical discipline or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work/military experience.
Minimum four (4) years of experience in all facets of Expeditionary Unmanned Systems (ExUS) operations and tactical employment, including one (1) year as an Instructor/Trainer/Evaluator in a Navy Training Environment.
Experience as a qualified UMS Operator or Technician and/or a Master/Afloat Training Specialist is a significant plus.
Strong background, knowledge, and experience in the Naval Operational Planning Process and Command and Control of assigned forces.
Occasional travel within the U.S. and OCONUS might be required.
Active Secret Clearance required.
U.S. Citizenship is required.
