Vessel Engineer

Vessel is used for autonomous underwater vehicle (UUV), remotely operated vehicle (ROV), and diving operations. Vessel engineer will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of the vessel’s propulsion and generator systems, ancillary equipment including deck machinery, navigation, and communication systems, vessel maintenance and cleanliness, safety of all embarked passengers, unmanned systems equipment, and operating environment both above and below the water. Vessel operations are expected to be conducted Monday through Friday but could include weekends. Customers will include government, commercial, and academic organizations.

  • United States Citizen

  • Current SECRET Security Clearance

  • Marine Diesel Mechanic certification

  • Minimum 5 years of off-shore experience

  • Physical exam taken within the last 6 months of employment start date

  • Approved drug test taken within the last 6 months

  • Approved CPR/First Aid certification taken within the last 12 months
