Anders Nelson has extensive experience in the conversion, organization, and analysis of spatial data. After graduating from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a degree in Geography, Mr. Nelson helped design and maintain custom pipeline facility management software for large interstate pipeline companies including Exxon Mobil, Valero, and Occidental Petroleum Corp., among others. This gave Mr. Nelson extensive experience managing large spatial databases containing both infrastructure and imagery datasets. Combining Mr. Nelson's database management skills and his ability to create accurate spatial representations of infrastructure, he has helped establish a solid foundation for our unique underwater GIS.
